The ATC will be performing the hilarious comedy “Sylvia” by A.R Gurney and directed by Christine Marchand in January 2014. This play is a variation on the plot of the menopausal married male falling in love with an enticing young girl – in this case, the girl happens to be an adorable stray dog!

Cast:
– Sylvia, a female dog (actress aged 20-30; challenging physical work will be required)
– Greg: a middle-aged businessman
– Kate: his wife, a successful middle-aged academic
– Tom: a dog owner
– Phyllis: Kate’s socialite friend
– Leslie: a marriage counselor

When: September 3 at 8pm, September 5 at 8pm, September 8 at 5pm
